A battle on the road at dusk: your men and theirs clash under a red sun

UP THE KEEP

Hold the line

Free. Plays in the browser on a phone, a tablet or a computer. No account needed.

A whole campaign up one road

Every territory is a fight between two keeps. Each one teaches you a new man and a new trick, and then the camp across the field uses it against you.

  • 30territories in three chapters
  • 14kinds of men to raise and upgrade
  • 3bosses: the Warden, the Matriarch and the Colossus
  • 3difficulties, and an Endless Night

How it plays

Easy to start and hard to master. Your first battle teaches you the whole game in a couple of minutes.

Dig

Diggers work the seams by your keep. Everything you buy is paid for in ore, so start with more of them than you think.

Raise

Cudgels hold the line, Longbows shoot over it, Pikemen brace against a charge. Masons, Sappers, Bulwarks, Molemen and more join as you go.

Push

Hold back, or send the lot up the road. Break their walls, knock down their keep, and the next territory opens on the map.
